What is an Angel Investor?

Angel Investors are high-net-worth individuals who provide financial backing to startups or early-stage companies, typically in exchange for equity ownership. Angel investors often invest their own money and may also offer mentorship, industry connections, and strategic guidance to help the business grow. Their investments usually come at a critical stage -- often bridging the gap between early friends-and-family funding and larger venture capital funding -- when the company needs capital to develop its product, enter the market, or scale operations.
